Mrs, BarnhillBarnhill-QuinnCourtney Paige Quinn and Michael Todd Barnhill, both of Bailey, exchanged marriage vows April 30 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at Rose Hill Plantation. The Rev.Dr. Thomas J. Watkins officiated.The bride is the daughter of Ms. Mary Kathryn Quinn of Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick James Quinn of Ingram, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Joyner of Wilson, the late Mrs. Harriet Peyton of Austin, Texas, and the late Mr. B.E. Quinn Jr.of Kerrville, Texas. She graduated from Hunt High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education from Coastal Carolina University. She is currently working as a substitute for the Wilson County School System.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michael Barnhill of Wilson. He is the grandson of the late Ms. Margaret McDuffie, the late Mr. Robert C. McDuffie and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Barnhill, all of Wilson. He graduated from Wilson Community College and earned a degree in electronics engineering technology and computer systems and repair from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. He is employed as an engineering technician at Biesse America.The bride was escorted ' by her father.Cameron Johnson of Raleigh, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.Bridesmaids were Heather Summers of Wilson; Debbie and Alex Morris of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Diana Kirk of Florence, S.C.; and Emma Summers of Wilson was flower girl.Mike Barnhill of Wilson, father of the groom, was best man.Groomsmen were Jeff Batchelor and Stephen Smith of Wilson; Mike Meeks of Sims; and Chad Owens of Wake Forest. Gavin Johnson of Raleigh, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.Jo Anne Dreitzler of Raleigh, aunt of the bride, served as register attendant. Zach and Nick Dreitzler of Raleigh, cousins ofthe bride, served as program attendants.The soloists were Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Creech who sang “One Hand, One Heart.” Wedding music was provided by a string quartet, whose members included Chris Ellis, Jayne Yeager, Joanna Pepple and Barbara Salter-Gates.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rose Hill Plantation, hosted by the bride’s parents.On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents entertained a rehearsal dinner at Rose Hill Plantation.
