The Larry Sturms Live Near EudoraAfter a wedding trip to Colo* rado, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sturm live near Eudora. Their recent marriage took place in the DeSoto Methodist Church. Rev. James Starkey officiated for the double ring service.The bride is the former Gloria Caldwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford D. Caldwell of De-Soto. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sturm of Eudora.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of white chiffon over satin with a lace jacket fashioned with a square neckline and long sleeves. A seed pearl crown held her fingertip veil of silk illusion. Her bouquet was of white carnations with a yellow rosebud heart-shaped center.Baskets of yellow gladioli and white Majestic daisies decorated the altar, Music was by Mr. and Mrs. Guy Longstreth, who played duets on the organ and’piano. Selections included “Melody of Love”, “Hawaiian Wedding Song” and “Bless this House.”The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Nancy Sue Caldwell, who wore a dress of yellow organza with a white lace jacket and carried a bouquet of white carnations. The candlelighters were cousins of the bride, Miss Edith Soule and Miss Susan Caldwell, who were dressed in blue organza an(f wore matching hats and white carnation corsages.Vernon Sturm was best man and James Lawrenz and John Lawrcnz ushered.The mothe* of the bride wore a dress of beige lace and hadwhite accessories. The bridegroom’s mother was dressed inlight blue with white accessories. Their corsages were of white carnations.Assisting at the reception in the church parlor were Mrs. Lester Hickman, who served the cake, and Janice Hickman, who poured the punch. Sylvia Barth was at the grfest book and Mrs. Raymond Handley and Mrs. Vernon Sturm were in charge of the gifts.For her wedding trip, the bride chose a navy blue two-piece dress and white accessories.
