ENGAGEMENTMiss Geneva Collier, of 27 E. Portland avenue, and the Rev. R. Carleton Allen, pastor of the North VincennesMethodist church, have announced their engagement. Miss Collier came to this city from Bicknell, Ind., about two years ago and is one of the most prominent young ladies of the above named church, taking an active part in Sunday school and young peoples work Rev. Allen is a graduate of the Brown University, Providence, R. I. He enlisted in the army after preaching a few months as chaplain, seeing active service as a lieutenant.—Vincennes Capital.
