Church, HonesI dale, was tin* scene of the recent I| wedding of Miss Jane ElizabethPfeiffer, daughter of Mrs. Merl Pfeiffer of 135 Tryon Street, Honesdalo, and the late Joseph Pfeiffer, to Albert Peter Mongo van, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mongovan of Honesdale RD 2. j The Rev. Peter S. Kane, pastor, performed the ceremony at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 27, before an altar decorated withwhite gladioli.Mis. Isabelle Dunne, organist, played the traditional wedding music and accompanied Mrs. Richard Palmer, soloist.The brideTiie bride, escorted by her cousin, Charles Marion, wore a gown of white Chantilly lace over satin. The molded bodice featured a Sabrina neckline and lung tapering sleeves. The bal- j lerina length skirt had a triple \ I tier of lace at the back. Her i finger-tip veil of illusion was at- i 1 tached to a crown of sequins and iridescents and she carried white carnations centered with a white jorchid.Miss Elaine Krehel was maid of honor. Her gown of green lace | was ballerina length and she wore a sequin headpiece and i carried yellow carnations.
