Miss Mabel Burnell andElmer Johnson WedIn a quiet ceremony performed at the Congregational church by Rev. J. C. May no Saturday morning at 6 o’clock, Miss Mable Burnell and Elmer Johnson of Spring Valley were united in marriage.They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Ray of Sioux City, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.Following a wedding breakfast at the Daniel Burnell home the coupleleft for the Wisconsin Dells on a motor trip. They will later visit Yellowstone Park and points of interest in the west. Miss Elizabeth Burnell and Miss Elna Johnson accompaniedthem on the trip.On their return they will maketheir home in DeKalb.Mrs. Johnson has been a teacher in the Spring Valley Public schools.Mr. Johnson is employed by the Northwestern railroad and is station-' ed at DeKalb.
