A Regular Shower.Mr. and Mm. Elmer Knowles were most pleasantly surprised Monday evening at tlie home of Mrs. Knowles’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wester-man, by some 50 of their associates, most of them being from among the M. E. young people. Rev. Dr. Ackerman, in behalf of the assembly, in a happy little speech presented the newly wedded pair with a complete set of silver ware, embracing a set of knives, forks, table and tea spoonR, sngar shell, creamspoon, meat fork, barter knife and pickle fork, as a substantial token of their esteem. The company had prepared themselves to ‘1 rice to the emergency” and Mr. and Mrs. Knowles were indeed “riced.” Altogether it was a delightful evening.a r?in
