JERRY LEE SANDERS... to live in Kansas City, Mo.Miss Carolyn Davis, Jerry Lee Sanders Wed June 30Miss Carolyn Jeanette Davis and E.3 Jerry Lee Sanders exchanged marriage vows in a candlelight ceremony at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30 at the Zion Fair Baptist Church.Miss Davis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Davis and the groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Sanders of Kansas City, Mo.Rev. A. S. Green officated at the ceremony. The sanctuary was decorated with baskets of white carnations and greenery. The pews were marked with greenery and white carnations.Miss Diana Webb was organist and she was accompanied by Miss Doris Villarreal as soloist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of silk organza over peau de soie. The fitted bodice of Chantilly lace over peau de soie was styled with a sabrina neckline dotted with pearls, long sleeves of Chantilly lace pointed at the wrist and a full skirt with a removable cathedral train attached at the waistline. Her shoulder length veil of imported illusion fell from a tiara of pearls. She carried a bible and a nosegay of roses and carnations with white streamers.Mrs. Angie Lee Haywood of Corpus Christi was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Edie Mae Brown, Miss Tillie Fay Green and Miss Josephine Brown. They were attired in silk organza empire floor lengthgowns. The matron of honor wore a gown of pink and the bridesmaids wore green. They carried nosegays of carnationswith streamers.Best man was Joseph Alton Perkins of LaFayette, La. Groomsmen were Daniel Boarders of Florida, Rudy Banard of Brooklyn, N. Y. and Jerry Haywood of Corpus Christi.Seating the guests were Robert Louis Stephens, Willie Lee Jones, Charles Jones and Donnie Davis, brother of the bride.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Fellowship Hall of the Grace Lutheran Church. The hall was decorated with bells, ribbon and fern.The bride’s table was laid with an ecru lace cloth over pink, centered with the brides bouquet. A four-tiered wedding cake was of white confectionary with pink and green decorations and topped with a miniature bride and groom.Mrs. Felton Nance of San Antonio served the cake and Mrs. Edie M. Stevenson served punch. Mrs. Thomas Clayton of San Antonio presided over the register and was assisted by Miss Marylyn Terrell.For traveling the bride was attired in a print jersey dress with gold accessories and a corsage of white carnation.The bride is a graduate of Sinton High School and Bee County College.Out of town guests were Mrs. Felton Nance and Mrs. Thomas
