Kenoshans Exchange VowsAt Recent Nuptial RitesTwo recent weddings involving young Kenoshans have been reported. Details of these ceremonies follow.Salm-RlchterThe marriage of Miss Lorraine Slam, and Gerald J. Richter, both of Milwaukee, took place at 10 a.m. today in Saint Mary Catholic church, Chilton, Wis. The Rev. Peter Salm, uncle of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Salm, Chilton, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. William H. Richter, Silver Lake.Miss Joanne Salm, Chilton, was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lawrence Fait, Burlington, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Judy Salm, Chilton, sister of the bride.For her wedding the bride wore a princess styled white embroidered gown. A tiara of seed pearls secured her elbow length veil. She carried a prayer book covered with pink sweetheart roses and stephanotis.Attendants were attired in blue chiffon and taffeta dresses with matching picture hats, and they carried baskets of white, blue and yellow daisies.Dr. Lyle Richter, Milwaukee, was best man. Groomsmen were William Richter, Jr., Milwaukee, and Michael Salm, Chilton. The former two are brothers of the bridegroom, the latter is thebrides’s brother.Immediately after the wedding, a reception was held at the Hickory Hills Country Club, Chilton.The bride attended the college of Saint Scholastica, Duluth, Minn., and is a graduate of Mount Mary College, Milwaukee. Mr. Richter is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and was affiliated with the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Following their honeymoon, the couple will be at home at 3047 N.
