PAGE FOURBETTIE SMITHELIZABETH JEAN MOORE AND RONALD VINGOE RECITE VOWS AT CANDLELIGHT CEREMONYMr. and Mrs. Richard H. Vingoe of 839 H avenue, have returned to Coronado from Dayton, Ohio, where they attended the marriage of their son. Ronald, to Miss Elizabeth Jean *Moore, daughter of Mrs. Newton Moore and the late Reverend Moore of Wellington, Ohio.The ceremony took place June 19 in the Brighton Congregational church where the bride’s father served his first pastorate. The beautiful and impressive rites were performed by Reverend Paul E. Lauffer before a bower of palms, ferns, calla lilies, gladioli and blue delphinium.The bride given in marriage by her uncle, Norman Everson, was lovely in a gown of white marquisette draped over white satin. She wore a coronet of orange blossoms which held a finger tip veil and carried a white bible upon which rested a single white orchid. Mrs. Thomas Wood of Concord, Mass., a classmate at Oberlin college, acted as matron of honor. She was attired in a pale blue marquisette dress with a jacket of matching faille and carried a bouquet of tea roses. Miss Mary Van Emen of Canonsburg, Pa., served as bridesmaid. Her gowm was of pale pink marquisette fashioned with bodice and trimming of black chantilly lace. She carried talisman roses.Junior bridesmaids were Thelma and Madeline Lane, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight L. Lane, formerly of Coronado now living in Dayton, Ohio. The two girls wore yellow organdy frocks and carried nosegays of pink and blue blossoms. Attendants of the groom were William Spicer, of Pittsburg, Pa., and Cecil Vingoe of Washington, D. C., brother of the groom.The bride’s mother chose a gown of sea foam mesh trimmed with amber and wore a corsage of talisman roses. A green and white crepe print with white accessories was worn by thegroom’s mother with a corsage of white roses.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride for the wedding party and guests. Out-of-towrn guests were from Dayton, Cleveland, Sandusky, Oberlin, Milan, Akron and Coronado.The groom is a graduate of Coronado High school, class of ’35 and of the University of Cincinnati. At present he is stationed at Wright Field, Dayton, Ohio, as a chemical engineer for the War Department. Mrs. Vingoe is a graduate of Oberlin college class of ’42.Following a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, the couple will be at home to their friends at 58 East Helena street, Dayton, Ohio.
