FORMER MINISTER ATMONTPELIER IS WEDmMontpelier — A wedding: of interest to the Montpelier commun- j ity took place Sunday evening j when two well known people, here, The Rev. Emil C. Plambeck, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Plambeck, of Davenport, recent pastor of the Montpelier church, and Miss Jeannette Gar-stang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Garstang, also of that city, were united in marriage at a pretty twilight ceremony which took place at St. Mark’s Lutheran church. The kev. M. A. Getzendaner officiated in the1 j presence of about 1,000 relatives land friends. The bride had also been active here in social affairs. IRev. Plambeck since his resignation here is serving as pastor of the Salem Lutheran church at Princeton and of the Community Lutheran church at Pleasant Valley. The bridal couple left for an extended motor trip to the West coast stopping at the Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, Seattle,i and Yellowstone park.
