The Thomas C, Shirley residence; at 106 H. Fifth street was the scene of amulet wedding on Saturday, June 18.The double rips ceremony which united ^Olive Shirley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shirley, and Clyde Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson of Mechanlesburg, in marriage, was performed by the Rev. R, K. Weber, pastor of the Grove Chapel, Lutheran Church.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white net and' lace over white silk. Her corsage was of yellow roses. She chose for her maid of honor her cousin, Clara Smith, who was attired in a light blue suit with white accessories. Her corsage was of pink roses...Harry Shirley, brother of the| bride, served as best/man.The bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Shirley, wore navy blue with whit* accessories, aThe' bridegroom's mother alio ^ wore navy blue.The guests wets Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shirley and son James;Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Smith and daughters Clara and Elanora; Mr, and Mrs, James Shirley and child* ren Leroy and Shirley; Mr. Clark Shirley; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson and son William; Mrs/ Jacob Putt.Robprfc. and Harry Shirley; Mrs, f Olive Black and granddaughter Linda; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Adamson and son Harry; Clair Cramer, Charlie Little, and Mary Lou Finley.The out-of-town guests were from Marion Center, Revena, 0„ Mech-anlcsburg and Vandergrift.
