ANNOUNCEMENT is made by Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Walsh , 193rd street, Mokena, concerning the betrothal and approaching marriage of their daughter Patricia Louise to Michael F. Werner.Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Wemer. 112 Midland avenue, Mokena.The Rev. August J. Bueltmann will officiate at the 6:30 o'clock ceremony the evening of July 8 in the Immanuel L utheran church. Invitations have been Issued, but all relatives and friends are invited to attend both the wedding and reception to follow in St. John's church parlors.Both young people are graduates of Lincoln-Way high school. Miss Walsh is now employed by the Great American Insurance company in Chicago. Mr. W'emer is an employee at the Automatic E lectric company in North Lake.Two Showers Honor Patricia Walsh Of MokenaGuests were present from Mlnooka, Joliet, Manhattan, Frankfort, New Lenox, Mokena and Green Garden.A shower was held Sunday, July 2, at the home of Mrs. Lillian Heim in Mokena. Hostesses were Mrs. Heim, Mrs. Esther Scherer, Mrs. Alma Ag-azzl, Mrs. Hulda Schmitz and Miss Walsh’s attendents. Miss Beverly Walsh, Miss JoAnn Heim and Miss Rose Moench.Games were played. Refreshments were served. The motif was orchid and white. Miss Walsh received gifts. Guests were present from Chicago, Harvey, Rlverdale, Lock-port. New Lenox, Manhattan, Joliet and Mokena.Two bridal showers were given in honor of Miss Patricia Walsh of Mokena, who will be married Saturday.Sunday. June 25th, at the home of Mrs. Myrtle Walsh in Manhattan. guests attended a miscellaneous shower. Hostesses were Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. Rita Wagner. Mrs. Joyce Cupp. Mrs. Marge Ellis. Mrs. Gladys Roberts, Mrs. Sue Newhauer, Mrs. LaVem Roberts, Mrs. Dee Roberts, Mrs. Floise Roberts and Mrs. Welma K'nupp.Games were played prior to opening the gifts. Refreshments were served. Decorations were In orchid and white.
