When the tubes were all covered with red paper, they were filled with candy; and a pipe cleaner was put in the center for a wick. Each girl brought something forthe bake sale, which was held at Beane’s store. The proceeds were $15.45. The money will be used to buy candy for the “firecrackers,” and the rest will be put into the treasury.
