Hounds, daughter of Mr. and Mr?. Floyd G. Hounds of 15 Hickok avenue, ( and Gordon L. Strubler, Jr., eon of Mr3. Gordon Strubler Sr., of 21 Pershing street. Corning. The officiating clergyman was Ilev. Thomas G. Swales, Broad Street Methodist pastor who performed the double ring service.A prelude of wedding music was played by Mrs. Kenneth Lit-tlewood. organist. Soloist was Evan Crandall, baritone, who sang Schubert’s Ave Maria and I Love Vou, by Grieg. Mrs. Littlewood played the traditional wedding marches.Miss Gertrude Rounds of 300 Main street, Oneonta v.as maid of honor forlt;• her sister. Bridesmaids were Miss Vova Strubler of Corning, sister of the bridegroom and Mrs. James T. Ilutson of 330 Belmont, X.W., Warren, Ohio, sister of the bride.Iavid Stevens of Corning was best man for the bridegroom. Ushers were William Brown of Corning and Jack Probst of East Aurora.The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white satin gown, styled with a fitted waist, long pointed sleeve*; oval scalloped neckliue, full skirt and; a short* train. Her full length net and lace veil was held with a tiara of white roses and baby’s breath. She wore white satin slip pers. The bride’s shower bouquet! was of white roses, white sweet-1 peas and baby’s breath.The maid of honor wore a peach | satin gown, white lace mitts and i white sandals. Her showers bou-l quet was of peach gladioli and I blue delphinium. Her tiara matched her bouquet.The bridesmaids wore deep i aqua satin gowns, white lacej mitts and white sandals. Their shower bouquets were of peach gladioli.Mrs. Rounds, mother of the j bride, wore an aqua sheer dress ( with white accessories at her] daughter’s wedding. Her corsage; was of piuk roses, while Mrs. j Strubler, mother of the bride-1 ’groom wore pink eyelet with j white accessories. Her corsage al-; so was of pink roses.Following the church ceremony a wedding dinner for 35 guests j was served at the Chenango Hotel. She was for-j merly a member of the Vernal high school faculty as music di-j rector. The bridegroom attended; North Side high school at Corning; Stevens Institute of Technology at Hoboken, N. J., and King s Point Merchant Marine Academy. He is at present a Stevens student after two years of service with the Merchant Marines.Mr. Strubler and his bride will make tbeir home at 21 Pershin? treet, Corning for the summei tnd in September will reside ir Hoboken, N.
