The couples attended each other, and ushers were Norman Carlson and Wayne Carr. ' *;The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Clarence Melln, pastor ofBethany -LUtheran church, ©lean, pibeneath an arbor of vari-coloredI * 4| -roses with a background of ferns and roses. ' . .Mrs. Carr and Mrs*. Hillman both wore gowns of white French organdy, made Colonial style, over white taffeta and with lace insertions. • Their fingertip veils were of tullis with tirras of white sweet peas. • • 'Each carried Colonial bouquets of sweet peas, roses and ferns.,Mrs. Harry Carlson, mother ofthe brides, wore rose marquisette and her porsage- -was 4f gardenias.Mrs. Lewis ' Kenfipld, mother - of Mr; KenfieldT tyofce navy chiffon, and her corsage was also of gardenias.' “• .“Mendelssohn's Wedding March” was played by Mrs. Edward Perkins, and during _ the ceremony, Miss Leta Crandall, of Little' Genesee, sang two selections, “Oh Promise Me,” and • “Because.” She was accompanied by Mrs. . Alexander Barrefe5*also of Little GeneSee.Following the ceremony, luncheon was served to 60 guests’ at the Carlson home.
