A quiet wedding was solemnized Saturday evening, June 29, at 7 o'clock, when Etta Rae, daughter of Mrs. H. M. Coulter, became the bride of Eric Osler Hilton, son of Mrs. B. Hilton, of Nottingham, Eng land. The fireplace, banked with tall ferns and early summer blooms, formed a lovely background for the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. R. M. Frayne. A bride, who was given in marriage by her mother, wore a robe de style of Ma jorica bleu chiffon, rene a high neckline with a double-flounced collar, and tiny crystal buttons from neckline to waistline. She wore a large picture hat of mohair and carried a bridal bouquet of Talisman roses. Mrs. Franklin P. Griffith, sister of the bride, was matron-of-honor. She wore a gown of shell pink or ganza made on princess lines with myriad rows of frills, and jacket to match. Her hat was a baku model in matching tone. Sidney Hilton, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Immediately following the cere mony the wedding supper was held at the Embassy, the bride’s table being centred with a three-tiered wedding cake. Tall tapers and sil ver vases filled with vari-colored flowers completed the decoration. Mr. and Mrs. Hilton will reside on Oxford st.
