Peacock—Dale.Cedar Grove Farm, Palermo, was the scene of an interesting event on Wednesday evening last, June 21st, when Miss Bertha May Dale, only daughtei of Mr. and Mrs. John Dale, was united in marriage to James H. Peacock. late of Buffalo, N. Y. The marriage took place at seven o’clock, Rev. J. W. McNamara, B. D., officatmg. The room was prettily decorated with evergreens for the occasion. Mrs. W. W. Dale played the wedding march. The bridal party stood under a large arch of cedars sprinkled with orange blossoms, while the recess was banked with ferns. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming costume of royal blue corded silk with lace trimmings and a long tulle veil with orange blossoms. She was attended by Miss M. Maud Norton, of Palermo, who was daintly gowned in French organdie royal blue with appropriate trimming. The bride and bridesmaid carried magnificent bouquets of cream and pink roses. The groom was attended by his brother, J. F. Peacock, of Buffalo.After the ceremony, about forty guests sat down to well filled tables, and partook of a delightful repast.Many presents, beautiful and costly as well as useful, bore evidence to the good will and esteem of the friends ot the bridal couple. Among the guests were Mr. ana Mrs. \V. W. Dale, 'of Janesville, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Peacock, of Buffalo ; Mr. and Mrs. D. Buck, Palermo; Mr. and Mrs. Tas. Dale, Nelson; Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Dale, Appleby; Geo. Dale, Georgetown ; Messrs. Henry, Will and Geo. Peacock, and Mrs. and Miss Peacock, of Omagh ; Messrs. Thompson and Elton Jordon and the Misses Jordon, ot the Sixteen, and others.The happy couple intend to reside on the fifth line, Trafalgar, where Mr. Peacock has recently purchased a farm.
