IBeverly Schiebout becomes bride of Harry Gill, jr.The South Main Baptist Church in Houston was the setting for the wedding of Beverly Ann Schiebout and Harry William Gill, Jr., both of Houston, on May 12 at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Dan Yeary officiated at the double ring ceremony.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schiebout of Newkirk and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gill, Sr. of Houston.The bride entered the church to the strains of ••Trumpet Voluntary” by Purcell and was given In marriage by her father. She chose to wear a lovely gown fashioned in white organza and delicate Venlse lace. The high collar was formed entirely of lace, as was the bodice, creating a bib effect. The softly fullBishop sleeves featured a deeplace cuff edged in Venice daisies, The slender empire waistline was the perfect compliment to the full, flowing skirt which was bordered at the hem by Venlse daisies and jwept back to a graceful chapel length train. Her veil was several tiers of white illusion which were held back by a romantic Camelot headpiece covered with Venlse lace and tiny seed pearls and accented by a petit organza bow.She carried a wedding Bible covered in white satin which had been a high school graduation gift from her SundaySchool teacher,Mrs.FrankDeGraaf, A large yellow orchid was centered on the Bible with white stephynota and ivy. The bride also wore a gold locket watch which had belonged to her grandmother and a pair of pearl earrings which were given to her by the groom.Miss Evelyn Myer, friend of the bride from Marathon, Iowa, served as maid of honor. She was attired in an empire waisted, high collared dress with long Bishop sleeves with cuffs, the, dress wasbuds, yellow poms, accented with tiny orange flowers. The high waistline was accented with a yellow satin ribbon fastened in a bow in the back. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Bernard Schiebout, Mrs. Marvin Schiebout, Mrs. Freddie Casey, Mrs. Tommy Clark, and Miss Gee Gee Goad and they were dressed in gowns identical to that of the maid of honor.Miss Debbie Huff, friend of the bride was organist, and Mr. John Huff, friend of the bride and groom, was the soloist. He sang “The Wedding Song” before the ceremony. As the couple knelt he sang “Tbe Wedding Prayer” and l#One Hand, One Heart” as they lit the unity candle.The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white ruffled shirt and a black butterfly bowtieMr. Tommy Buie, friend and roommate of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Tim Burden, Jim Gill, Robert Kerr, Steve Jefferson and David Jones, all friends of the groom. They also wore black tuxedos but wore yellow shirts. Their boutonnieres were yellow roses and the groom wore three white stephynota.Serving as ushers were Bernard Shlebout, Marvin Schiebout, Rick Ferguson and Ron Rigsby.Following the ceremony, thereception was held in thechurch parlor.For her travel ensemble the bride wore a pale blue, full skirted dress which was completely smocked from the waist up and had a collar. It had long sleeves with deep smocked cuffs.
