Haynes were married in an-informal eeremony Friday, June 23, at 3 o’clock . in the afternoon at .First Baptist Church in Bogata,The bride is the daughter of Mrs. .Blanche Holcomb, 1830 E. Washington St., and thelate Weldon Holcomb. The groom is the son of Mr, and Mrs. R. J. Haynes, 2403 Simpson St.The ceremony was per*formed by the Rev. Blake Dunagan, pastor, and uncle of I he groom, before the altardecorated with arrangements of while gladioli.Organ, music was played.The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Covy Williams,. was attired in a gown of imported chantilly lace averwhite satin designed with scalloped neckline. The street-long th skirt was designed with a satin panel in front and the sleeves were long, coming to points over her hands.Her veil of tulle was attached (o a pearled tiara, She carried a white orchid atop a white Bible.Laddie Kay Books was maid of honor. She wore a yellow arnel cotton dress trimmed in white lace and carried yellow and white daisies with yellow satin bow and streamers, ft. J. Haynes was best man. After a wedding trip to 'Hot Springs National Park, the Ozarks and Lake Greecian, the couple is at home at 448 E.Price St.They both attended Paris High. School.'Mrs. Haynes was a member of the Owl staff, was basketball queen, member of Tri-Hi-Y, Latin Club, Future Teachers and Future Homemakers of America clubs. Mr. Haynes also attended Paris Junior College and is now employed at UARCO.A reception was held at the-home of the ‘Rev. and Mrs. Blake Dunagan. The bouse was decorated with yellow and white daisies.
