Married at Jefferson Roy Copp and Miss Jennie B. Smith, of Glidden, went to Jefferson last Thursday and were quietly married by Rev. Grant Lewis, formerly of this city. The wedding came as a complete surprise to many friends of the young couple. Roy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Copp and is a capable young farmer, who has been his father's right hand man for several years. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen M. Smith of Glidden and although not so well known in this city, has made many friends here, while on visits in Carroll. The Times joins with many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
