ft tI1IOne of the prettiest home weddings ot the season occurred Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock when MisB Grace Parker, daughter of Mr. 1 ' and Mrs. L. S. Parker, became the bride of Carrol Diefenderfer, at the bride’s home, 241 - north Pierce street. The house was beautifully decorated with pink roses and daisies and Miss Leona Feltz gave a musical program before the ceremony. Leading the wedding procession was little Trene McCabe, gowned in white organdie with a wide girdle of pink taffeta, and carrying a large basket of roses, in the midst of which wasthe wedding Ting.Miss Winifred Crites, the maid of honor, wore a gown of white with touches of pink and the bridesmaid, M3sb _ Ethel Parker, was gowned in turquoise blue, with garnitures of , silver. The bride, who was given in I marriage by her father, was most at-1 tractive in her wedding robes of I white satin, with overdress of point., lace. Her bouquet was a shower of j roses. Mr. Diefenderfer was attended by his brother, Lowell Diefen-Jerfer, and Rev. M. R- Puller offi-siated at the ceremony, which took ( place at a temporary altar, of hanked palms and flowers in the living room. Miss Vera Neely sang “Because” during the marriage service.A reception followed the ceremony and supper was served in the diningroom, the bride's table being dec-; orated with roses and daisies, with j the candles in silver sticks tied with j tulle. The young couple left yesterday for an extended Eastern trip and upon their return they will re- j side at 717 west Market street. The bride is a graduate of the Sherwood J Conservatory ot Music in Chicago'and is prominent in musical circles. I Mr. Diefenderfer, who is the son of; Mrs. Elisa Diefenderfer, is a mechanical draftsman at the Lima Locomotive. Corporation.
