A Beautiful Wedding.A pretty marguerite weddiug took place Wednesday afternoon, June 27tb, at the beautiful country home ; of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Morehouse near Lafayette, the bride being their daughter, Miss Gertrude Dale, and the bridegroom, Mr. Horace Carter Miffs, of Mooresville. The wedding guests included only the relatives, classmates and a few intimate friends j of tie bride and groom. The com* -^i^Meibodist Episcopal ceremony w^nlpDOunced by Rev. Switzer. T®^use was a bower of marguer*4I^W£nij parlor where the ceremony took ! place the large bay window was com-; pletely hidden with marguerites and I terns, before which the bridal couple stood. Mrs. Morehouse, a sister-in-law of the bride, presided at the piano and played the Mendelssohn wedding march for the entrance of j the bridal party. The litile sister and a cousin of the bride carried a chain of marguerites and ferns from the stairway to the floral window.; They were dressed in white swiss i trimmed in lace. 'The bride wore a i lovely gown of white silk made ! princess, profusely trimmed with lace. After congratulations had j been extended the guests were in -! vited to the large front porch and lawn where dainty refreshments were , served. The wedding presents were j numerous and beautiful and useful.1 Among the presents were two sets i of solid silver teaspoons of exact ) pattern, one set given by an uncle of the gioom in Indianapolis and the other set by an uncle of the bride in Cincinnati. Mr. and Mrs. Mills left Lafayette on the 8:20 limited to j ■ spend a few days with the parents of j 1 the groom. After August 1st they r ! will he at home to their friends in ' Plymouth, Ind.
