Krause-SearlesASHTABULA— Tabitha Jean Krause and Joshua David Searles were united in marriage Feb. 13, 1999, at Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God. The Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiated the 2 p.m. open ceremony. Soloist for the occasion was David Weaver, uncle of the bride.The bride is the daughter of Valerie Krause of Ashtabula and the late Robert C. Krause. She was given in marriage by her mother and Tim Lawrence. Parents of the groom are Michael and Stacey Knight of Rock Creek, Laurie and Don Bugansky of Ashtabula.For her wedding the bride chose a V-neck gown with long sleeves, white satin overlay with lace, satin roses and sequins. The skirt featured a semi-cathedral train. She added a headpiece of satin roses, decorated with matching sequins, and veil of illusion netting.The groom was attired in a black tuxedo with vest and matching pinstriped trousers with alight gray tie.Maid of honor was the bride’s cousin, Jamie Weaver of Jefferson. Bridesmaids included Brittany Sullivan, cousin of the bride, and Crystal Fertig, both of Kingsville; Candy Smith and*Lyndsey Long, cousin of the groom, both of Jefferson, Flower girl was Aubrianna Knight of Jefferson and ring bearer was Aaron Sulin of Ashtabula, stepbrother of the bride.Best man was Daniel Knight of Jefferson, uncle of the groom. Groomsmen included Christopher Wilkes, cousin of the groom, and Michael Newhart, both of Jefferson, and Matthew Krause of Ashtabula, brother of the bride.Among those receiving flowers were Carol Weaver, Leona and Raymond Krause, Shirlee and Tom Lawrence, all of Ashtabula, grandparents of the bride; Elizabeth Jackway of Ashtabula and Nancy Knight of Jefferson, grandmothers of the groom.A reception honoring the couple was held at Sheffield Fire Hall.The bride graduated from Edgewood Senior High School and Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School, administrative assistant program, in 1998. The groom is a 1998 graduate of Harbor High School and ACJVS carpentry program. He is employed at Kraftmaid Cabinetry ih Middlefield.
