PHILLIP DYKEMANWEDDING BELLSPresbyterian Rifes Recited by CoupleOn June 11. the Trinity Presbyterian Church provided the ] beautiful setting for marriage' rites uniting the former Miss Shirley Jean Orton and Robert Ray Stanley. Jr. The Rev. C. Sumpter Logan officiated at the exchange of nuptial vows.Parents of the new bride are Mr. and Mrs. J, Edward Freestone, 942 East 40th. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Stanley of Sunset.The couple was honored that evening at a reception at the White House Reception Center.The bride chose an original floor-length gown of silk organza over imported bridal taffeta. Venetian lace highlighted the bell sleeves and the shadowed hem- of the sheath skirt, and was repeated in lace applique on the flowing train of silk organza. Her bouffant veil of bridal illusion was caught to a headpiece fashioned in a large bow of white satin. She carried a cascade bouquet of white butterfly roses and bridal ivy.Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Claudia Freestone, and other attendants wereI Mrs. Edward B. Freestone, Missf Glenda Orton, Miss Jan Freestone. and Miss Debbie Orton.They wore floor-length sheath gowns of orchid delustered satin. /The bodices featured a scooped neckline, sleeveless, and were covered with Florentine lace of lavender blue with scallops at the waist. Their ensembles were complemented by headpieces fashioned of orchid satin styled in a tailored bow1 and by white elbow-lengtb gloves. They each held a single long-stemmed white rose.Thomas Stanley, brother of the bridegroom performed the duties of best man and Stephen Parker, Dee Orton, Gerald Ki-zerian, and Gary Stephens ush-1 ered.The couple was honored on the eve of their wedding with a rehearsal dinner given by the bridegroom’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. James F. Meadows of Sunset also feted the couple at a dinner party given at their home. The bride was honored at several pre-nuptial parties.Following the reception the couple left on a.honeymoon trip to Jackson Lake and Yellowstone Park. They are now residing in Ogden.Weber M/ss Trades Vows With Airman| Miss Jennie Thatcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine A. Thatcher, of Roy, became the bride of Airman l.C, Phillip J.; Dykeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dykeman, of Winston, Ore. •The double-ring ceremony was performed by Don Neilson, president of the Magic Valley Christian College, on June 14 in the Ogden Church of . Christ.A reception followed in the Social Room of the church.,The bride’s wedding gown had a lace fitted bodice and tapered long sleeves with a satin bell-i shaped skirt. A crown of seed | pearls and crystals held the fingertip veil in place.She carried a cascading bouquet of pink carnations and roses with silver and white streamers.Her attendants wore pink lace gowns. Vieki Thatcher was candle lighter; Miss Pat Thatcher, maid of honor and Merry Jane Benik, flower girl.Luther Kemp was best man, and Greg Thatcher and Don Kershner were ushers.The couple took a honeymoon jtrip to the Pacific Northwest,1 and are residing in Layton.Famiiv Rfurns Frnm Ft irnnc
