Winter. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Orgell of Eldora and Mr* Winter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winter, Jr. of Hub-bord.The couple were married in the Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church in Hubbard at 7:30 p. m, Friday. The bride was given in marriage by her father and was united in marriage by Rev. H.i O. Thompson.Marlene McMillen presided at the organ and played the traditional wedding music. She accompanied Carolyn Faust as she sang, “1 Love'.You Truly,” during the ceremony and The Wedding Prayer,” as the couple knelt. Church decorations included pew markers \of hucklc*. berry and white satin bows.The bride was gowned in chantilly lace and tullie. The fitted bodice featured’1 a scoop neckline with pearls and; sequins and a floor length skirt with panels of lace trimmed in pearls and sequins. The * long sleeves of the bodice terminated at bridal points on the wrists. A three-quarter length veil;draped from the bride's crown of sequins and pearls. Her jewelry consisted of cultured pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom. The bride carried a cascade of white roses accented with pink sweetheart roses and stephanotis.Maid of honor was Jean Strathe, cousin of the bride. She wore a street, length dress of peau-de-soie with matching shoes and a blusher veil. Her bouquet was of deep pink carnations. Identically dressed were Mary and Nancy Winter, sisters of the bridegroom.Dean Wolfe, a cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Richard Winter, and Wilbert Reinert Jr., cousins of the bridegroom, Ushers and candlelighters were Monte Strathe and Larry Zoake. i^onard Penning and Gilbert TiCttow also usheTed.The bride's mother was Crossed in a blue eyelet sheath dress with white accessories while the bridegroom’s mother wore a lavender lace dress with white accessories. They wore white rose corsages.—O—RECEPTION HELD AT LUTHERAN HALLAfter the ceremony, a reception was held in the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Two hundred seventy five guests attended. Hosts at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Strathe, aunt and uncle of the bride,Mrs. Willie Wolf baked, decorated and cut the four tier wedding cake. She was assisted by Mrs. Steven Hanson of Des Moines. Lois Kix presided at the punch service and Mrs. Laura Munson was at the coffee service. They are both aunts of the bride. Assistahts with the serving were Mary Ann Rieks and Judith Kielsmeler. Waitresses included Sharon Dreier, Maureen Dettbarn and Kathy Dettbarn. Mrs.. Jon Faust was at the guest book and gifts were cared for by Mrs, Leonard Penning, Karen Engel and Loretta Last.Mrs, Orgell wore a brown and beige rayon sheath dress with beige accessories as she left on their wedding trip through the West. Following their trip, they will reside on a farm southeast of Hubbard. The bride is a graduate of the Hubbard Community School and the American Institute of Business In Des Moines. She is employed with Bateson, Ryan and Dunn Attorneys in Eldora. Mr. Orgell is a graduate of the Hubbard school and has served two years in the United States Army.Guests attended the wedding from Marshalltown, Cedar Falls, Hampton, Des Moines, Cherokee, St. Anthony, Ames, Webster City, Altoona and surrounding towns.—O-Dr. Rogers Host Osteopathic GroupDr. and Mrs. R.
