O'Brien-White Wedding June 27In a very pretty ceremony performed at 8:30, Thursday morning in St. Joseph's church, North English, Miss Ann O’Brien,, daughter of Mrs. Susan O’Brien, of North English became the bride of Vincent White, only son, of Mr. anl Mrs. Andrew White of Williamsburg.Rev. Thomas O’Dowd of Williamsburg officiated at the marriage service, and Rev.. V. A. Walsh pastor of St. Joseph's church North English celebrated the Nuptial Mass.The church altars were beautifully decorated with pink and white roses, the bride’s chosen colors.Mrs. Marcus O’Donnell of Williamsburg, played the wedding march, All Glories Land and Honor,” by Haydn and sang a solo, Mary Dearest Mother.” The responses of the Mass were sung by Cyril Lecrxey of Rock Island. At the Offertory and Communion he sang, “Ave Maria, by Roewig, and “Oh Lord I am not Worthy.”The bride was becomingly gowned in a floor length gown of white satin trimmed in lace, her floor length veil was held in place with orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of Madonna lilies, asters and baby breath.Miss Roxine Kirkpatrick, friend of the bride was bridesmaid, she was gowned in pink silk and carried a bouquet of pink roses, asters ancl baby breath.Mr. Dean O’Donnell of Williamsburg, friend of the bridegroom attended Mr.. White.Judith Mae Baugh of Cedar Rapids was flower girl, and Donald O’Brien, nephew of the bride was ring bearer. The flower girl dressed in pink, and the ring bearer wearing a white suit preceded the bridal party to the altar carrying the ring concealed in a bouquet of lilies.Mr. White and his attendant wore dark suits.After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride for the immediate families and the attendants.Mrs, White is a graduate of the North English high school with the class of ID35 and since has been employed in North English.Mr. 'White is a graduate of the Williamsburg high school, is a young man of excellent qualities an excellent farmer, an occupation he has followed since his graduation.and Mrs. White left for a short wedding trip, and after they return will make their home on a farm north of Willamsburg.The old community extend to Mr. and Mrs. White the sincerest and happiest felicitations to -Mr. and Mrs. White.Held CThusclay the parent at the bo; farm undeO.
