Herman South worth of Vestal Marries Louise Treys of BinghamtonThe marriage of Miss Carol Louise Treyz, daughter of Mrs, William H. Treyz, 61 Front street, Binghamton, and Herman McDowell Southworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman R. Southworth of Vestal, was solemnized Saturday afternoon at 4 o’closk at the home of the bride's mother. The rooms were decorated with baskets of summer flowers and greenery.Rev. Einar Bohne-Echolt, pastor of the High Street M. E. Church, performed the ceremony. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Lee of Red Hook, Miss Mary Underwood and Miss Sarah Joy Waldron, both of Binghamton, and Miss Frances Clough of Bangor, Me. Lawrence Gould of Syracuse was best man.The bride wore her mother's wedding gown of ivory satin and princess lace, a long tulle veil and lace cap, and carried white roses. She was given in marriage by her uncle, George I. Treyz of Cooks Falls. MUss Lee and Miss Underwood were dressed in rose chiffon and Miss Clough and Miss Waldron in blue chiffon. All four bridesmaids carried delphiniums and pink roses and wore coronets of sweetheart roses and forget-me-nots. The bride's mother wore grey chiffon and Mrs. Southworth was dressed in orchid and rose silk.The reception following the ceremony was attended by the immediate families and a few close friends of the bridal couple. Mr. and Mrs. Southworth left on a motor trip and after July 15 will make their home in Washington, N. J.
