Then there are wedding bells. Those who know him thought Hugh Riste was an incorrigible bachelor, but even Hugh could not resist the flashes o* bright eyes, and now he is a happy bridegroom. The sol lowing notice of the event that resulted in Mr. Riste deserting single for double harness was handed into the Gazett) office last Friday:“Mr. Hugh Riste, of Oroville, and Miss Nellie 1. Fide, of Rushford Minn were married at the home of the bride's brother, in Seattle, on Tuesday, June 24, 1913. Mr. Riste is well known here, ?nd has a ranch on the Okanogan river. Mrs. Riste is the daughter of Mrs. N. J. Fide, of Rush-iord, Minn., and met her husband at Ashland Oregon, some two years ago She is an accomplished musician. Mr. and Mrs. Riste will be at home after July lii.
