Mrs. Mitchell Weds Mr. ZimmermanMrs. Mary Bishop Mitchell and Mr. Richard Venable Zimmerman, both of Blacksburg, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon in a double ring . ceremony at “Ingleside,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melville Jeffries of Radford.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John William Bishop Sr., of Roanoke, and the late Mr. Bishop. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.Charles Thomas Zimmerman of Radford.The ceremony at which the Reverend Claude W. McCauley, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Blacksburg, officiated, was attended by families and close friends of the contractingparties.The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. John William Mitchell, Jr., of Orlando, Florida, had as her .maid of honor and only attendant her daughter, Miss Karen Mitchell of Blacksburg. Major Lewis Ingles Jeffries of Buena Vista served as best man. An informal reception at the home followed.Following a wedding trip to Europe the couple will reside at 208 Huntington Lane, in Blacksburg.
