Joan Ash, Roger LundRepeat Vows HereLast Sunday at 2: p.m., Miss Jo-' an Ash, daughter of Mrs. Harold Ash and the late Mr. Ash and Hoger Lund, son of Mr. and Mrs. 'Harry Lund, were married in the First Methodist Church at Fayette. Bev. Huseher performed the single ring ceremony.Mrs. Bussell Erion was organist and accompanied the soloist, ‘Donald Blaker, as he sang “I Love You Truly” and “I Love Thee”,Given in marriage by her uncle, Bob Ash of Oelwein, the bride wore a ballerina length gown of imported Chantilly lace and net over satin. The veil was held in place by a cap trimmed in rhinestones. She also wore pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom and carried a single orchid on a white Bible.Mrs. Les Hearn, sister of the bride of Dubuque, was matron of honor. She wore a pink organdy embroidered dress over pink satin. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and white carnations.Duane Lund, brother of the groom of Indianapolis, Indianna, was best m^n. lt;Stanley Lund of Cedar Rapids and Galen Mack of Fayette were ushers.A reception was held at thehome of the brides mother forapproximately 100 guests. Mrs. Charles Whitney of Garner cutthe four tiered wedding cake. Mrs. Dale Blaker poured and Miss Marie Stede had charge of the guests book.Mrs. Kenneth Klink of Marshalltown, Miss Betty Thins of West Union and Mrs. Ronald Koeher of Fayette were in charge of the gifts. Waitresses were Miss Geraldine Ash of Oelwein, Miss Sharron Blaker, Mrs. Howard Stranahan and Mrs. Margaret MeSweeney of Fayette.Mrs. Lund graduated from Fayette High School and is now a student at Upper Iowa University. Mr. Lund also graduated ‘from Fayette High School, attended (Upper Iowa University and served four years in the navy. lie is now employed by the Interstate Power Company. Bill-meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thies and two daughter all of West Union.
