AKRON,1 AKRON FOLKS TAKE4VOWS OF MARRIAGELAST TUESDAYMiss Anne Hartmann And John Von Hagel Are Wedded June 24A lovely wedding was •solemnized Tuesday, June 24, iy2, at 8:00 p. m. when Miss Anne Hartmann, daugh-tei* of Mrs. Margaret Hartmann, became the bride of John H. Von-Hagel. The nuptial ceremony was performed in Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. J. A. Pannkuk officiated at the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with garden flowers and candelabra.The traditional wedding marches were played by Mrs, Anna Long. Mrs. Hugh Swift sang “Because. Mrs. Long accompanied the soloist. Carl, Ray and Gary Hartmann sang The Lord's Prayer.”The bride given in marriage by her brother, Rudy, wore a white slipper satin gown fashioned with fittedbodice, illusion yoke and long pointed: sleeves. Her only jewelry was a gold Black Hills cross, a gift of the groom. She wore a fingertip veil of illusion net and lace, and carried red roses with white streamers on the white Bible.Susan Von Hagel, .grand-neice of bridegroom, was flower girl. She was dressed in a white slipper satin gown, with hoop skirt,^.and carried a white slipper satin basket with tulle and ribbons. She scattered rose petals in the path of .the bride as she preceded her to the altar.Mrs. Alice Eichaeker,. sister of the bride, matron of honor, was gowned: in a sheer yellow formal and carried a bouquet of red tea roses.Bridesmaid, Mabel Long, niece of the groom, was gowned in a* sheer net aqua formal and carried a bouquet c-f red tea roses.They were met at the altar by the best men, Henry Eichaeker and, Marvin'Hitzemann. The bridegroom and-best men wore dark suits and red rose boutonnieres.The mother of the bride was dressed in grey and white, with white accessories, and wore a corsage of red roses.The ushers were Lloyd Eichaeker, Arden Hitzemann, nephews of bride and bridegroom, respectively.The reception, immediately following the ceremony, was held in the church parlors. • The bride's colors, yellow and aqua, were carried out in the decorations with a three-tiered wedding cake centering the bridal table.Mrs. Gary Hartmann was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Rudy Hartmann had eharge of the gift table. Mrs. Carl Hartmann and Mrs. Lester Meske wer^ waitresses. The Ladies’ Aid was in charge of the reception. Mrs. ’Gary Hartmann and .Mrs, BenHartmann cut the wedding cake.The bride is employed at Hartmann Service, where she is bookkeeper for her four brothers.The bridegroom is head engineer of Akron Municipal Eight Plant.The couple, who ar’e on their honeymoon, will make their home in Akron upon their return.Out of town guests attending the wedding were: Mrs. Ben Hartmann, Evanston, 111.; Mr. and Mrs. Laurits Andersen, Battle Creek, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. E.
