Her fingertip veil w'as held in place by a seed pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. Her maid of honor, Mary Talon, wore a pink satin gown with net skirt and blusher veil, and carried deep pink carnations tied with a blue ribbon. Her three bridesmaids, Shirley Brown, Rose Wendell and Romayne Allen, wore powder blue gowns with jersey tops and net skirts and matching blusher veils. They carried deep pink carnations with pink ribbons. The bride s niece, 4-year-old Lynn Johnson, was flower girl.
