U 1Kathryn Marie Felkcr returned to her alma mater, the College of St. Teresa at Winona, Minn., for her marriage Monday morning to Alvin M. Messling of this city. The 10 o’clock mass at St. Mary of the ! Angels chapel of the college was rerd by the Rev. A. O. Hale. Elma and Francis Messling. of La Crosse, sister and brother, attended, and | Robert Scheel, also of this city, a cousin of the bride, served the mass.Easter lilies and white gladioli \ were interspersed with candelabra f on the church altars, marches by Gounod used for the entry and recessional.White satin trimmed the bride’s white chiffon Grecian gown, her double-tiered veil bound in the satin and held with gardenias and stcphanatis. The latter were showered from her white prayerbook.Miss Messling, wearing heavenly j blue pleated orgimdic, had a short veil held with delphinium like the flowers used with roses in her bouquet.Mrs. Ida Jeffries of 720 South 8th street. I^i Crosse, attended her daughter’s wedding in a blue sheer print with yellow roses and daisies ■ fixed at the shoulder.Breakfast at Hotel Winona for 25 was in the Bamboo room and j the couple left for an eastern motor trip, the bride wearing aqua sheer with white wool coat.
