Elaine Chiado Weds |Carl Reistad of De PueMiss Elaine Chiado, Spring Valley, became the bride of Carl Reistad, De Pue, Friday evening at 8:30 in a ceremony which took place at the De Pue Congregational parsonage, the pastor, Rev. H. Shelby Lee, officiating.Miss Louise Chiado served as her sister's bridesmaid, and John Wid-mar, De Pue, a friend of the bridegroom, was the best man.The bride was attired in a tailored costume of green and natural and her broad brimmed pompadour hat was in the latter shade. She wore a shoulder corsage of mixed Talisman roses, baby’s breath and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a sbirt waist dress of green and her hat was similar to the bride’s. Her corsage was of pink and baby's breath.Mrs. Reistad is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Chiado, Spring Valley. She is a graduate of Hall Township High school and is employed at Westclox. The bridegroom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Reistad, De Pue, is a graduate of the De Pue High school and is employed at the Mineral Point Zinc company plant.Following the ceremony the bridal party went out of town for dinner and on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Rei tad left for a week’s motor trip. When they return they will make their home in De Pue.
