ROGERS—RISTEA very pretty wedding took place at the home of Prof. A. M. Riste, near Chopaka, Tuesday, when Prof. Robert Rogers, of Ephrata, and Miss Fay Riste were united in marriage, Rev. R. T. Holland officiating. The wedding was solemnized out doors, under a bower constructed among the trees near the site of the old home that was destroyed by fire a few weeks ago. The ceremony was witnessed by only the immediate members of the family and relatives. The groom is said to be a most worthy and prosperous young citizen of Ephrata, Grant county. The bride is a daughter of Prof. and Mrs. A. M. Riste, well known and highly respected residents of the north end of the county, and as a former teacher in the Oroville public school has made many friends in this community, all of whom join in wishing the young couple a long and happy married life.
