the CierK.A pretty wedding occurred at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Lutz, seven miles south-east of Del-phos, Thursday evening, when their daughter, Miss Iva, was united in the holy bonds of wedlock to Mr. Otis Barnt. At 7.30 o’clock the bridal couple entered the parlors, preceded by Miss Myrtle Stiger and Mr. Alarta Lutz, brother of the bride, who acted as the bridesmaid and groomsman. Rev. E. F. Gamble, of Van Wert, performed the ceremony in the presence of seventy-five guests.. The bride was gowned in a dainty costume of soft white silk with elaborate trimmings of lace and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations. Miss Stiger was attired in a pretty gown of white silk and carried pink carnations. After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Barnt received the congratulations and best wishes of the guests.A wedding supper was served in the dining room which was nicely decorated with cut flowers and greenery, and presented a pretty scene as the guests were seated at the delicious repast.Mr. and Mrs. Barnt received many presents from their friends, which included linens, silver, china, articles of furntiure etc.The groom is the popular book keeper at the Gemke Bros. Busch Hardware Store, and is a young man of excellent qualifications and respected by all who know him. He has won the esteem of his employeis and all who come in contact with him and has made many friends. His bride is one of the most popular young ladies residing east of Delphos, and possesses many admirable quali- j D ties which will make her a splendid In wife.
