S A LTER—D UT ROW.Mr. George W. Salter, sou of Mr. George Sailer, the East Patrick street rest au ran leu r, and Miss Gertie M. Dutrow, of this city, were married atthe Reformed parsonage on Wednesday evening last, at 8.30 o’clock, in the preseuceof a few relatives and friends. Immediately after the weddiug a delightful reception was held at the residence of the groom on West Church street, from 8 to 11 o’clock. The parlor was brilliantly illuminated aud beautifully decorated with flowers aud palms which lent enchantment to the occasion. Al out 9 o’clock the Independent Drum Corps tendered the happy couple a serenade aud at intervals during the eveuiug entertained the large company with choice music. Atan appropriate hour all were invited to the dining-room, where a sumptuous repast had been prepared, consisting of all the delicacies of the season. The happy couple were the recipients of about 75 ornamental, costly aud useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Halter will reside on East Patrick street, where a house had been furnished and prepared for their reception. They have the best wishes of their many friends for a happy and successful future.
