The four-tiered wedding cake with blue and white floral ornamentation and topped by a miniature bridal couple was an added note of beauty to the table settng.Mrs. Robert Krepfe of Rockford cut the cake; Mrs. Thomas White of Sycamore poured; Carol Hissong and Rosemary Roscptt, both of Rockford, presided at the punch bowl; Miss Janet Lundsrofn of this city registered the guests and Mrs. 'Floyd Worden, Jr., alsosive double ring ceremony.A profusion of all white gladioli, pompons and njums beautified the altar and chancel and on either side, were lighted branched candelabra. White satin bows also marked the bridal aislepews. ’Mrs. Olive Gustafson presided at the organ playing a medley of lovely nuptial selections and also accompanied Mark Johnston,, a high school classmate of the bride, as he sang “I Love You Truly” and'“The Lord’s Prayer”, the latter being sung as the' couple knelt at the altar.The young bride entered the church with her^uncle, who gave her in marriage. Shfc was very lovely in her white ballerina length wedding gown beautifully fashioned of nylon lace and tulle, and having shoj*t lace cap sleeves and voluminous skirt enhanced withlace and rows of ruffles covered• *with a layer, of net.
