Nancy Hewitt Wed h Lawn Ceremony SaturdayBovina Center, June 30.—Miss Nancy E. Hewitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hewitt, was wed Saturday on the lawn of her parents’ home to Clifford L. Mattice, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Mattice of Stamford. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. Wade Miller. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Andrew Hewitt.Cut and field flowers provided decoration for the lawn ceremony under an arch of ferns, daisies and yellow roses. Sixty guests attended the rites and reception which followed.A bodice of white sharkskin with sweetheart neckline and a skirt of marquisette was worn by the bride, who wore a fingertip . veil and carried a bouquet of white i carnations.Miss Jean Piker, Princeton, N. J., attended the bride as maid of honor, gowned in pink faille trimmed with lace. Sweet peas and chmations made up her bouquet. Miss Elinor Monroe, bridesmaid, wore blue chiffon over satin and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and carnations. 'Mrs. Hewitt was gowned in : navy blue. Mrs. Mattice, mother of the bridegroom, wore navy blue. Both wore corsages of pink and white carnations. Eton Mat- 1 tice, Stamford, served his brother ' as best man. 1Assisting at the reception were 1 Helen Boggs, Mrs. Alex Rabeler Sr. and Mrs. Henry Monroe.A gray print dress with pink 1 coat and white accessories was the bride’s traveling costume 1 when the couple left for a wed- ' ding trip through western.
