Mrs. John E Harris, JrVows were exchanged by Marilyn Lucille Morrison and John K. Harris Jr. in a double ring ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberlev on June 20. Officiating was the Bev. Desmond Murphy.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles It. Morrison, Jr. of Houston and Wimberlev and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Harris of Wimberley.The church was decorated with candelabrum entwined with greenery and four floral arrangements. Dr. Fmmie Cradd»ck played the organ nuptial music.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a candlelight organza gown appliqued w ith lace and seed pearls. The matching headdress and shoulder length veil was of voile, lace and seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of white daisies.Maid of honor was Miss Carol Moors of Cedar ( re» k and bridesmaids were Misses Cathy Keith of Houston and Paula Morrison and Nancy Morrison, sisters of the bride. 1 lower girl was Ann Marie Morrison, also a sister the bride. They wore ,ning floor length dresses in the A-line design candlelight organ/a and aqua with a darker blue empire waistline accented with a bow. Fach carried a bouquet of yellow daisies outlined with blue net.Serving the bridegroom as best man was Jack Smith. G rooms men were Sterling Harris, brother of the bridegroom, Dean Pickle of Austin and Bruce Patterson of San Marcos. Ishers were Jerry Montague, Bob Saunders. Sammy Haynes, Nathan Morris and Carl Leinneweber. Michael Morrison and Charles Morrison, brothers of the bride, were servers.The reception was held at Holiday Hills Podge following the ceremony. The bride’s cake was a three tiered confection decorated w ith flowers matching the bridesmaids’ dresses. A double rinr cake with glazed grapes was served at the bridegroom** table.Assisting with the reception were Mrs. orrison, Mrs.Strait Kimmoiis, Mrs. Bruce Patterson, Miss Cecilia Brooks, Miss ’Arlene Saunders, Miss Yvctt* tt ami Miss TherisaShield*..The bride, a graduate of Marian High School in Houston, chose a suit with a black skirt and a long white coat as her travel ensemble.The. bridegroom is a graduate of I!ays !Iigh school and Southwest Texas Junior College in Ivalde. lie has attended Southwest Texas State Cniversity.The couple will reside in Wimberley.
