Joseph GrubbWins A BrideMarries DorothyBeelner Of Kingsleyno]St, Michael’s church in Kingsley was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday, June 24, when Joseph Grubb, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Grubb, and Dorothy Beelner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Beelner, were united in marriage.The ceremony was performed by Rev, Father M. Marx, pastor of the church.Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lenz of Paullina. Mrs. Lenz is the bride’s sister.The bride wore a green ensemble with black and white accessories, and the costume of the bridesmaid was a rust color ensemble, and for her accessories she chose the shade of tan.. Both wore corsages.After the ceremony the bridal party breakfasted in the home of bride’s: mother northeast of 1 Kingsley, where the reception was \ held and dinner served for relatives.* The reception and dining room were f handsome in their decorations of I green and white, the bride’s colors. In charge of the kitchen were Mrs. Frank Beelner and Mrs. Michael 1 Klein of Remsen, aunts of the bride, i while the table honors were given to Miss Elnora Klein, of Remsen a cousin of the bride, and Miss Sylvia Meister.♦The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Beelner, who formerly lived in Remsen, and was bom and grew up there and attended St. Mary’s school. The groom was bom near Kingsley, is a graduate of Kingsley high school and is one of the popular young men of that territory.The young people left on a trip to. the northern Iowa lakes. On their return they will be at home to their friends on the Goetzinger farm adjoining Oyens,t£aItIrI1tII\)
