W, Benedict, Turin, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at the home ofthe bride,-the Rev. A. B. Corbin, pastor of the M. E. church, officiating.The bride was grven in marriage by her uncle, Gifford Tiffany, and was attended by her sisl'ir. Miss Ida Stiles. Albert Benedict, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. 0The. wedding march was played by Miss Doris Brown and Mrs. Ray Tiffany, and Dorrance Brown sang. A buffet tea was served following the ceremony.On return from a wedding trip through Canada to Iowa, where they will visit friends, Mr. and Mrs. Benedict will reside at Turin where Mr. Benedict is associated with his father in farming.Both Mr. and Mrs. Benedict are graduates of Low-ville academy. The bride is a past president of the ThetaRho club, a junior Rebekash society. Mr. Benedict is a member of the Ma-scnic lodge at Turin and the Turin Men's cluib.Out of town guests invited to the wedding were from Turin, Port Leyden. Boonville, ConstableviHe, Marti nsfcurg, Carthage, Utica, Rochester, Buffalo and Ames la.Bond Issue TakenThirteen groups offered bids for theissue of $125,000 of 'Lewis countybonds, which were opened by CharlesT. Taylor, county treasurer, yesterday.Sherwood Co., New York, offering to take the entire issue at 2.20 with a premium of $250, were the successful bidders.
