baseball game between Williamsburg and Middjp, i two baseball teams which have fought several hard games during the last few weeks and a great contest is expected on July 5th. Movies, wrestling and a large outdoor dance will be features of the evening.Everybody is welcome.Last week Carl Roemig had the misfortune to fall off a ladder while picking cherries. He fractured his arm and suffered other minor injuries but is not confined to his bed.Raspberry harvest is now under way and they areplentiful this year although we should have somerain. We have cause, however, to be thankful whenwe read howT much damage was caused at some other places.We all hope that the weatherman will he favorableto us on July 5th so that we can spend the day comfortably outdoors. It is a very good thing that wehuman beings are not in a position to make the weather.Dr. C. H. Herrmann and family came home on Tuesday from a two weeks trip to California. They saw many interesting places and went through different states. Everything is nice in California hut not without irrigation, so they thought at last our good old Iowa State is the best of all.
