—The home of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Brown, north Main street, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday afternoon, June 24. whenRev. A. B. Wilson, of the Presbyterian church, united in marriage Miss MabelCarter and Mr. Hiram Ogle. The bride%is the daughter of Mr. Lewis C. Carterone of Washington eoun'yrupv'r nta tive men and farmers. She is a popular teacher and the grand-niece of Mrs. S. D. Brown. Mr. Ogle, the groom, is from Iowa engaged in the drug business at Avery. The wedding was a quiet one, only members of the family and a few friends of the bridal couple being present. Mr. and Mrs. Ogle left on the evening train for their future home in Avery, Iowa.
