There arc many intimate friends of j Fred Flaig who doubted that Fred , would long maintain his state of single bliss after his mother moved to Medicine Hat and Fred was left alone on the farm, to feed the chickens, milk the cows and attend to all the j household duties, and worst of all, to] come home to a cold, dark house after a night of enjoyment elsewhere. While Fred stoutly maintained that he really enjoyed all these things that to others might seem drudgery, it had been noticed that lately he had been following the trail south of town more ircqucntly; but the object of' these trips being made after darkj were shrouded in deepest mystery, j The veil of mystery has now been j lifted, at a quiet wedding in Medicine Hat on the 20th of January Miss Ruth Boettcher of Schuler was married to Mr. Fred Flaig.
