THEIR HONEYMOON IS SPENT IN JAIL.♦ - — —Girl Weds a Prisoner at La Crosse and Shares His Confinementwith Him.La Crosse, Wi8.f Jan. 28.— [Special.] —Steel bars of a jail have no terrors for Master Dan Cupid, and he plies his trade in spite of them. At least that is the conclusion to be drawn from the wedding of a Minnesota girl and one of the prisoners at the county jail. The contracting couple was Ludwig S. Scanlan and Miss Minnie Anderson. The groom is serving a sentence of six months for being one of a trio who passed some forged checks on a local saloonkeeper and others. Ilis term does not expire until the early part of February, and he and his bride decided that they could wait 110 longer. The prisoner was taken to the courthouse in the patrol wagon, and was met there by the girl, to whom he was engaged before he was sent to jail. Justice John Costley tied the knot, and the happy couple was taken to the jail, where they are spending their honeymoon. _
