Arnold - Stober Nuptials Were Read January 19Miss Mildred Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Arnold, of near Monterey, was united in marriage to Max Stober, of Centerville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stober, of near Coatsville, Sunday afternoon, January 19, 1947. The ceremony was .performed at the home of the bride’s parents at two o'clock, with the Rev. Bennett Bradbury, of Lancaster, Mo,, officiating before the altar of pink roses and ferns, and in the presence of about thirty guests. Mrs. Quentin Johnson played “I Love You Truly” preceding and during the ceremony.The bride given in marriage by her father wore a street length dfess with black accessories. Her corsage was red roses tied with silver ribbon.Serving as matron of honor -was Mrs. Francis Davis, of Lovilia, Iowa, and sister of the bride-groom. She wore a grey wool dress with black accessories, and her corsage was of red and white carnations. The bridegroom -*/ore a brown business suit, and his attendant, Francis Davis, a grey tweelt;I suit. *A reception was held, following the ceremony. The bride’s table was centered with a three tiered angel food cake, baked by the bride’s mother. Pink candles cart a soft glow over the flower filled vases. Serving from the table was Mrs. Dav is, assisted by Mrs. Darlene Warning and Misses Doris and Louise Stunertt.Mrs. Stober attended the Bloomfield High School, and,,,.Mr. Stober served nearly four years in.the U. S. Army, with two years overseas. After the reception the young couple left for a short honeymoon, and are now living in Centerville, where Mr. Stober is employed at the Selix Motor Co.
