Mrs. Carolena ReusnowMrs. Carolena Reusnow (nee Arndt) 84 years old, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Sauerbier, in Bremen township. She and her husband, the late Charles .Reusnow were pioneer residents of the community and his place is now known as “Reusnow’s grove,” well known picnic grounds west of Blue Island. Mr. Reusnow died in 1918.Mrs. Reusnow was born near Beilin, Germany, Feb. 4, 1846.Besides, her daughter, Mrs. Sauerbier, she is survived by a son, Otto Reusnow, five grandchildren and one great grandson.Funeral services were held Monday at thh First Ev. Lutheran church with the Rev. M. P. F. Doermann officiating. Burial was at the Lutheran cemetery on Burr Oak ave. ‘ * *
