Longnecker, of Graco M. E. church. Burlington, officiating. The service of the Meethodist Episcopal church, including the ring ceremony, was used. Only the families of the contracting parties and a few other relatives were witnesses of the happy event whichunited these young people who are members of two of the old and well known families of Des Moines county.The bride as tho only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edw\ Tackenberg and was born and reared in Benton and , Franklin townships. Mr. Walker Is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse ! Walker and was born and reared In Benton township, where for some time he has been in charge of bis fath-j er’s Xarm. The couple left Burlington i on the afternoon train for Chicago, where they will visit a few days, following which they will make their I homo on tho Walker farm that has 1-* \savs been the groom's home.
