Lydia Bevelacqua Wed To Mr. FordyceMiss Lydia Anne Bevelacqua, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. SalvatoreBevelacqua, of Scarsdale and West' port, Connecticut, formerly of Bronx' ville, was married to Mr. Michael Dean Fordyce, 6on of Mrs. Lenhart Fordyce of Westport, and the late Dr. Addison Fordyce. The ceremony took place January 24 at Christ and Holy Trinity Church with the Rever* end Frederic L. C. Lortzen official ing. A reception followed at theFairfield Hunt Club in Fairfield.The bride wore a gown of starched French lace and her tulle veil was held by a halo of lilies'of'the'valley. She carried white roses, orchids and lilliee'of'the'vallcy.Mrs. Henry C. Skinker, sister ofthe bridegroom, was matron ofhonor. Bridesmaids were Miss Ann F. Hagerty, Miss Charlotte Janes and Miss Leonette Johnson. Mrs. Skin' ker wore American Beauty faille and the other attendants wore cornflower blue faille gowns and wreaths ofcarnations on their hair.Mr. Veryl Bevelacqua, brother of the bride, was best man. The ushers were Mr. William Keeley, Mr. Mich' ael Daly, Mr. Peter Moore and Mr. Raymond Murphy.Mrs. Fordyce attended Pine Manor Junior College and has been on the fashion staff of “Vogue.” After at' tending Fessenden School, Fresnal Ranch School and Valley Forge, Mr. Fordyce served three years in the Army Air Forces, part of this in Eng' land and France. He is the grand' son of the late Dr. and Mrs. John Fordyce.
